A regional plastic recycling manufacturer in Indonesia required a reliable shredding solution to process rigid plastic waste, mainly including PVC and PE pipes generated from post-industrial recycling. The customer focused on stable operation, consistent discharge size, and long working hours.
Based on the material form and daily throughput requirement, a plastic shredder with a reinforced rotor and shaft-mounted knives was supplied. The machine configuration was selected to handle thick-walled pipes and rigid plastics with stable torque output.
During commissioning, rotor speed and cutting clearance were adjusted according to the material characteristics. The shredding process showed stable performance, producing uniform shredded material suitable for further recycling processes.
After being put into regular production, the shredder operated reliably under daily working conditions. The customer reported smooth operation, consistent shredding results, and reduced manual handling compared with previous cutting methods.
This project demonstrates the application of a plastic shredder in rigid plastic recycling, providing a practical and stable shredding solution for plastic recycling plants.
