Project Background

Monterrey Plastic Solutions S.A. de C.V. is a regional manufacturer of plastic drainage and infrastructure pipes in northern Mexico. To expand its product range, the customer planned to introduce slotted pipes for underground drainage and water collection applications.

The customer required a pipe slotting machine that could operate inline with their existing extrusion line and provide consistent slot dimensions without affecting pipe roundness.

Solution Provided

After reviewing the customer’s pipe specifications and production workflow, Langbo Machinery supplied an automatic pipe slotting machine with the following configuration:

• Servo-driven slotting unit for accurate cutting position

• Adjustable cutting module for different slot lengths and spacing

• Clamping system to ensure pipe stability during slotting

• Synchronization interface with the haul-off unit

• Independent control panel for easy parameter setting

The machine was designed to handle continuous operation and adapt to multiple pipe sizes used by the customer.

Installation & Commissioning

Installation and commissioning were completed with remote technical support. Slot dimensions and cutting speed were adjusted according to the customer’s product standards. After trial production, the machine achieved stable slot quality and consistent production speed.
