Project Background
The customer is a local manufacturer in Turkey focusing on PE irrigation pipes and small-diameter HDPE conduits for agricultural and utility applications. With increasing production output, the existing manual coiling method could no longer meet requirements for continuous extrusion and stable winding quality.
The customer was looking for an automatic coiling solution that could operate continuously with the extrusion line, reduce downtime during coil change, and ensure uniform pipe arrangement.
Solution Supplied
Langbo supplied a double-station PE pipe coiler designed for continuous extrusion operation. The dual coiling stations allow automatic changeover, enabling one coil to be removed while the other station continues winding, minimizing production interruptions.
The coiler was synchronized with the haul-off unit to maintain stable pipe tension throughout the coiling process.

Project Results

The customer also reported lower labor requirements and more standardized coil packaging for storage and transportation.
