Thailand PE Pipe Coiler Project Case

A PE pipe manufacturer in Thailand required an efficient coiling solution for continuous production of small-diameter PE pipes used in irrigation and utility applications. The existing manual coiling method limited production efficiency and required frequent operator intervention.

Based on the customer’s pipe diameter range and line speed, a PE pipe coiler was selected and integrated into the downstream section of the pipe extrusion line. The coiler is designed with adjustable coiling diameter and controlled tension to ensure orderly winding without pipe deformation.

During on-site commissioning, the coiling parameters were fine-tuned to match the extrusion output and cooling conditions. Stable synchronization between the haul-off unit and the coiler allowed smooth pipe feeding and consistent coil formation. The guiding system helped maintain even pipe alignment throughout the coiling process.

After installation, the PE pipe coiler operated continuously under normal production conditions. The customer reported improved production efficiency, more uniform pipe coils, and reduced manual handling during packaging and storage.

This project highlights the practical application of a PE pipe coiler in PE pipe manufacturing lines, providing a stable and efficient solution for downstream pipe handling.
