The PPR pipe making machine plays a key role in producing high-quality pipes for hot and cold water distribution systems. Langbo Machinery offers a complete PPR pipe extrusion line designed to deliver consistent performance, precise dimensions, and long-term operational reliability.
A standard PPR pipe production line includes several coordinated units: a feeding system, single screw extruder, extrusion die head, vacuum calibration tank, cooling tank, haul-off machine, cutting unit, and pipe coiler or stacker. Each component is engineered to perform specific tasks in the continuous extrusion process.
The process begins with melting PPR raw material inside the extruder, where stable temperature control ensures uniform plasticization. The melt is then shaped through the die head and immediately cooled in the vacuum calibration tank to maintain dimensional accuracy. The subsequent cooling section stabilizes the pipe before it enters the haul-off and cutting machines, which define its final length and surface finish. Optional coiling equipment can be added for smaller diameter pipes to facilitate packaging and transport.
Langbo Machinery applies advanced control systems that allow precise adjustment of process parameters such as extrusion temperature, haul-off speed, and vacuum pressure. This ensures energy-efficient operation and minimizes material waste. The line is also compatible with multi-layer pipe extrusion and different mold configurations, meeting a wide range of customer requirements.
By focusing on technical optimization, Langbo Machinery continues to improve the automation, durability, and stability of PPR pipe production lines—supporting global partners in building efficient and reliable water supply solutions.
