TECHNOLOGY OF CO-EXTRUSION

Co-extrusion put simply, is "a tube within a tube." How that happens is as the inside tube is being formed, the outside tube is being formed too. The result is that the two tubes become one. The process has been around for a while. In fact, the colored stripes that are common on drinking straws get there through a coextrusion process. COEXTRUDED STRUCTURAL UNITS
