Single Shaft Shredder for Processing Melt Lumps
Before HDPE pipe extrusion lines can run smoothly, workers must start the machinery and adjust all parameters throughout the process. This procedure generates significant waste in the form of PE melt lumps—large, hard blocks that cannot be processed by standard crushers. Our single shaft shredder, featuring high rotation speed and specialized shaped knives, efficiently processes these waste lumps through the input port, producing uniform particles from the outlet.
Two Shredder Configurations Available
We offer two types of single shaft shredders: sliding port and upper port models. Both configurations share identical motor specifications and internal structures, providing flexibility for different operational requirements.
Pre-Crushing for Enhanced Processing
Our single shaft plastic shredders perform pre-crushing of challenging materials including sacks, jumbo bags, tires, cable, and yarn that are difficult to process in standard granulators. Pre-crushed materials significantly increase granulator capacity while extending equipment and blade lifespan. Materials processed through our rotating and fixed blade system can be further refined to desired sizes using granulators.
Advanced Safety & Control Features
The system incorporates automatic stop functions, reverse direction operation, and alarm notifications to handle potential material jamming, metal detection, and overload conditions, ensuring operational safety and equipment protection.

We appreciate the high-temperature washing system and strong drying capacity. The whole line is optimized for continuous operation, and maintenance points are easy to access. Production cost is much lower compared to our previous system.
