The belling machine is integrated with pipe extrusion production to manufacture socket ends for pipes in "U", "R", and rectangular configurations. The belling process occurs within a specialized belling room, utilizing vacuum shaping inside the core of the belling mold and external water cooling of the pipe to achieve precise socket dimensions.
The pipe manufacturing process begins with raw material preparation. Customers can mix PVC powder with various additives according to their specifications. This mixture is then fed into the extruder, where it undergoes plasticization before being extruded into the mold.
Within the mold, the material takes shape and emerges with the characteristic pipe form. The freshly extruded pipe remains hot and pliable, requiring stabilization through vacuum calibration in the vacuum sleeve calibration tank. Following this initial shaping, the pipe proceeds to the cooling tank for further temperature reduction.
A haul-off unit positioned adjacent to the cooling tank continuously draws the pipe away from the extruder. Finally, the pipe is cut to specified lengths and prepared for packaging and transportation.
