PVC compounds are sensitive to shearing and high temperatures, requiring gentle handling on either parallel or conical twin screw extruders, depending on throughput requirements and pipe dimensions. As expert equipment, the conical twin screw extruder can process not only PVC compounds and PVC-wood/composite mixtures, but also PP/PE and wood powder blends.
Equipped with various die heads and downstream equipment, it can be applied for manufacturing pipes, profiles, composite profiles, boards, sheets, and pelletizing. The logical combination of motor, gearbox, frequency inverter, barrel, and screw plays a critical role in energy efficiency.
